Empty Bowls
Join AACC service-learning students, staff and faculty as we come together to raise funds for those impacted by hunger in our community.
Stop by the Hawk's Nest for this energizing, student-focused event. Empty Bowls features service-learning students from the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute (HCAT). This event is in collaboration with the Sarbanes Center for Career and Civic Engagement.
Come and buy soup and a roll prepared by HCAT chefs and professors for a $10 donation and select a bowl to keep as a reminder of those whose bowls are not always full. All donations for the event benefit AACC HelpLink and our students. The event includes 70 bowls created in Sara Prigodich’s ceramics classes by service-learning students! We will sell out of student bowls, so come early to select one of these beautiful art pieces.
