About the Show
OPERA AACC’s spring production of "Dead Man Walking" is based on the book by the same name by Sister Helen Prejean. The opera, written by Jake Heggie and Terrence McNally, premiered in 2000 in San Francisco.
Performances are 7 p.m. March 13 and 16 and 2 p.m. March 15 in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts.
OPERA AACC is comprised of over 40 credit students working collaboratively with community performers/musicians, rising young artists, local professional artists and members of our world-class adjunct faculty. In addition, for this production, students in the Photography program are creating original projections, curated by AACC faculty member Matthew Moore.
