Section Info: Arnold Senior Center | Wood Carving-Intermediate Advanced | This class is designed to advance the skills of intermediate to advanced wood carvers. Students typically complete one major project per semester while exploring additional carving styles. Instruction emphasizes safe use of hand tools, including knives and gouges, along with tool selection and sharpening. Painting and pyrography are also introduced. With instructor approval, students may work on individual projects and learn about art venues and sales potential.
