Central Sterile Processing | Learn to handle medical equipment in a safe and sanitary manner. Explore methods of sterilization, decontamination, storage, packaging and distribution of both sterile and nonsterile medical instruments. Learn to assess the condition of medical and surgical equipment for sterility and proper function, which can include removing instruments for maintenance or replacement. CEUs issued. $2,050 includes $50 fee. Note: Students must be 18 years old. Note: Full attendance and passing the final exam required. A limited number of externships are offered, and students will be selected. Selected students must register and pay for externships: STP-505, STP-506, STP-507 and STP-508.
