Learn principles of financial accounting for the corporate entity. Study accrual-based accounting and the accounting cycle. Analyze and record financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and learn to account for receivables, inventories, fixed assets, liabilities and shareholders' equity. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/ENG 101A and eligibility for any general education math course or permission of department chair. Note: Credit is not given for BPA 201 and also BPA 200, BPA 201H, or BPA 211.
