SPA-212 Intermediate Spanish 2

Master intermediate vocabulary and grammar structures. Discuss the future and conditional and hypothetical situations using simple and complex sentences. Identify the main flow of events expressed in various time frames in intermediate level conversations, discussions, and short stories. Compare cultural products, practices, and perspectives of Spanish-speaking communities. Prerequisite: SPA 211 or three years of high school Spanish or permission of department chair. Note: Not for native speakers. Also offered as SPA 212H; credit not given for both SPA 212 and SPA 212H.
