Pre-Apprenticeship Carpentry Training Part B | Learn entry-level carpentry skills. Discuss ceiling and roof structures including selection and procedure for installing components. Demonstrate procedures for laying out and framing walls. Explain requirements for installing windows, skylights and exterior doors. Illustrate techniques for measuring and calculating rise, run and stairwell openings. CEUs issued. $1,440 includes $340 fee. Corequisites: CIT-301 Pre-Apprenticeship Carpentry Training Part A, and NRN-332 Heartsaver CPR/First Aid Note: Must be 18 or older to enroll. Cost includes instruction, textbook and supplies.
