Jennie Hager is a Maryland native and registered dental hygienist with a strong foundation in patient-centered care and a passion for public health. She began her career in the dental field in 2004 as a patient care coordinator and completed her prerequisite coursework at Anne Arundel Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she was honored with the Linda DeVore Award for Professional Integrity. Driven by a passion for community wellness and health equity, she went on to complete her Master of Public Health in behavioral and community health at the University of Maryland.
Hager has served as dean’s faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she contributed to the education and mentorship of future dental professionals. She is dedicated to advancing health equity and believes in meeting people where they are with empathy, integrity and respect.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys life with her husband, their two daughters and their Great Dane, Millie.
