You’ll gain a rich background in core business skills such as accounting, statistics and business law. You’ll also complete common general education requirements such as English, math and science, so you are well prepared to transfer to a four-year college.
AACC offers the following Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees. The state of Maryland refers to the A.A.S. as a career degree, because it's intended to provide you with skills to enter the workforce. In some cases, AACC has entered into transfer agreements that allow these degrees to transfer to select colleges. A list of active agreements may be found on this website. You’ll enhance your managerial and communication skills, while coming to an in-depth understanding of business communications, ethics and leadership. You’ll be able to focus your studies according to your interests, whether it be global business, management or workforce diversity.
You'll develop the foundational skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in management. Explore core business principles and communication skills, while honing your management skills in areas such as project management, leadership and customer service. Upon completion, you'll be prepared for entry-level management positions across various industries.
You will develop a foundational understanding of modern marketing principles and practices to equip yourself with the practical skills needed for entry-level roles in marketing, advertising, sales and public relations. This program is for you if you are seeking to enter the marketing field, enhance your current job skills or change careers. You’ll specialize in the five modes of transportation and intermodal transportation. You’ll be ready for an entry-level position in the growing transportation and logistics field. If you’re an existing industry employee, this program will enhance your knowledge and skills.

If you're looking to transfer your Business Administration Associate of Science degree to a four-year school, we have partnerships and transfer agreements in place with several schools so you can easily transfer when you're ready. Transfer (or “articulation”) agreements are formal arrangements between institutions that allow certain credits to transfer seamlessly from one school to the other.
